Rich, Intelisano and Katz’s attorneys have successfully litigated a broad range of property damage cases arising from negligent construction, design and supervision, breach of the NYC Building Code and related statutes and regulations, and cases involving mold and other environmental hazards. In the process of litigating these cases, the Firm’s attorneys have acquired extensive experience in technical issues related to structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, environmental engineering, demolition, excavation and shoring, historic preservation and real estate appraisal, among others.

The Firm has successfully represented owners of co-ops, condominiums, brownstones and commercial buildings in property damage disputes, including obtaining a multi-million dollar recovery in a complex litigation against contractors, design professionals and neighboring owners which required close work with numerous experts as well as various New York City agencies.

We have also defended contractors and design professionals in large multi-party property damage cases, in which our in-depth understanding of technical issues helped us to identify substantive and creative defenses for our clients.
