Gerard Romski serves as Of Counsel at Rich, Intelisano & Katz, LLP. Mr. Romski practices in the areas of construction litigation, real estate and land use law, commercial law and government relations.
Mr. Romski holds a Bachelor of Arts from the New York Institute of Technology and received his Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School. He is a member of the bar of State of New York and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern District of New York and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Romski is on the Board of Directors and Finance Chair of the New York State Dormitory Authority. He is also Counsel and Project Executive for “Arverne By The Sea,” where he oversees and manages the advancement of all facets of one of New York City’s largest mixed-use developments, which is located in Queens, New York. He previously served as a member of the New York City Congestion Mitigation Commission and the Board of Directors for the Bronx Red Cross.
Mr. Romski was formerly a partner in the law firm of Ross & Cohen, LLC (now merged with Duane Morris, LLP). In that capacity, he specialized in real estate and construction law. He previously served as Assistant Division Chief for the New York City Law Department’s Real Estate Litigation Division, where he managed all aspects of litigation arising from real property owned by The City of New York.
Mr. Romski is currently a member of the Urban Land Institute, Council of Development Finance Agencies, the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the New York City Bar Association.
